We may still have a little bit a snow on the ground but this weekend’s forecast is going to be spring like. I am still a little bitter about having to shovel snow the last couple of weeks because of mid to late April blizzards. Now we can finally look forward to getting some outdoor yard work done and bring up the summer furniture to the porch on the bed and breakfast. I have been feeling sorry for the little robins too, they are running around like what the heck is going on here, more snow AGAIN! I am announcing that Spring has Sprung and we welcome it with open arms!
Are you looking for an indoor activity during this year’s University of Okoboji Winter Games? Does anyone want to play Farkle!!! We are again hosting a Farkle tournament on Saturday Jan. 26 at 2pm during the 2013 Winter Games. This fun dice game is great for all ages to play. Last year’s Farkle tournament was so much fun and the grand prize winner was a 10-year-old young man who was going to give his prize to his grandmother that brought him. Just call 712-332-2358 to pre register. There is no charge, we just want to know how many to plan for because there is limited seating in Annabelle’s Tea Room at The Wash House gift shop in West Okoboji, IA. Prizes will be given out too, so sign up now!
